Chemin Neuf Community

Chemin Neuf is a Roman Catholic community with an ecumenical vocation, founded in 1973 in Lyon, France. The Community now has over 1300 members in 24 countries, representing more than a dozen Christian denominations. Many thousands more are members of the Chemin Neuf Communion, Cana or Youth Fraternities. Members include single men and women, celibate brothers and sisters, priests and ministers, and married couples.

In 2000, the Community set up a worldwide spiritual network of prayer called Net for God. Over five hundred Net for God groups now meet regularly in more than fifty countries to pray and study together, united in their desire to work for the unity of the Church of Christ and for peace in the world.
